Jessica Morrissey is a global healthcare strategist known for scaling complex operations and fostering international clinical partnerships in high-stakes healthcare environments. Currently an advisor to global health systems and startups, she brings deep experience in nonprofit management and working in Ukraine. At the onset of the Ukraine War, in partnership with Ukrainian Medical Association of North America (UMANA) she mobilized US hospitals to deliver more than 70 tons of medical supplies, medications and clinical equipment to Ukraine. Prior to the conflict, she was heavily involved in physician education in Ukraine, leading multiple clinical exchange trips with U.S. physicians to accelerate the adoption of innovative clinical practices. She remains actively engaged in the ongoing development of healthcare skills and capacity in the country.
Dr. Vitaliy Poylin is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a nationally recognized colorectal surgeon.
He is also the founder of Pack the Plane, a grassroots humanitarian initiative delivering critical medical supplies directly to Ukraine. Drawing on his clinical expertise and deep ties to the region, Dr. Poylin launched the effort in response to the urgent needs created by the war, mobilizing colleagues, volunteers, and donors to hand-carry lifesaving resources into conflict zones. As a U4U Network member, Dr. Poylin brings both frontline insight and academic leadership to the shared mission of supporting Ukrainian relief.
Brian Gannon is the founder of the Ukraine America Initiative, a cross-border effort dedicated to supporting Ukrainian refugees through direct humanitarian aid, resettlement assistance, and long-term economic development.
Over the last 20 years, Brian has worked extensively in Poland and Ukraine, forging partnerships with local communities, NGOs, and private sector allies to deliver critical resources and create pathways toward self-sufficiency. His work has helped launch housing, employment, and education programs for displaced families, while also identifying sustainable economic opportunities that benefit both host regions and refugee populations. Brian brings a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to humanitarian response, grounded in deep regional knowledge and a commitment to dignity-driven solutions.
